Hi,

I have an shot lasting 1 hour of an audience slowly filling an auditorium.

I would like to have it at fast speed to show it fill up in just a few secs.

What is the best way to do this please? delete frames every so often or ?

Think its called Time Lapse

Thanks

Hi

You can simulate Time Lapse on video by using the Speed effect in a new project add the 1 hr video to the timeline then

  1. remove the audio - if you do not do this you can only increase the speed to 4x

  2. in the Video effects, Speed dialog adjust the speed by typing in the new value

    or

using the mouse stretch mode pull the right end of the clip to the left

  3. export as MXV for use in a project
