How to distribute chapters across DVD Menus

A little help with what I hope is a straightforward DVD menu problem please. (MEP+, 16.0.4.124)

I have a single movie DVD with 22 chapters. Please refer to the two screen grabs. By using the "Composition Max 16" template (highlighted in red on 'DVD Menu 1.jpg') I have created with very little effort the menu style I want, but I want to place the chapters on the two menus more evenly, probably 10 on the first and 12 on the second. How do I do this please? I remember managing to do something similar about a year ago but failed to make any notes at the time. I don't find the Help for the DVD menuing system very (errr) helpful.

Hi Mike.

I am sure there ought to be other ways of doing this but the only one I have ever been able to use is to delete from the first screen all the chapters I wish to have appearing on the second screen, and then recreate them on that second screen. You're already showing as being in the Edit mode so should not be "too" much hassle, I hope.

Perhaps an alternative method (just "thinking aloud" as I write) is to edit the original template to remove the unwanted/additional items (say to create a new template for 10 chapters), then save it as a new template. (I think you can do this in MEP, if not VPX will be your saviour!)
