How to fade in and out... but not all the way?

Anishinabefilm wrote on 1/4/2018, 8:16 PM

Hi all,

New to the forum. (movie edit pro plus.....

I am having a hard time figuring out how to make one of my scenes fade part way out then back in (multiple times). I would like to use it like I use the volume curve, But I cannot find a "fade curve" option. Is there such a thing?

If not, how do I make a scene fade part way out, then back in? I have tried unsuccessfully a few times using key frames, but I must be doing something wrong. Is there a setting for key framing "fade" that will make it work like other editing key frames?

In Movie Edit Pro (MEP) you do this using keyframes and the Brightness control in Effects, Video Effects.
