How to Get Clips to Snap Back Together After Deleting a Section

So, when I edit videos I obviously delete sections of the clips I have. However, it gets pretty tiresome to have to drag the clips back together so that there's not a giant black space in between two. Is there a way in the settings to get clips to automatically fill in the gaps between them? I have no idea where to even look for that. I have the 2016 version of movie edit pro. Thanks!
