if its one video then in the Burn screen (edit mode) you can double click on the video in the preview monitor, and there is a area in there where you can set it to continuous play.

I think that is what your after.

It all depends on which DVD menu template you have selected - some do not have any music - most of the animated menus do and they loop automatically.

I am assuming you have not tried to customise a menu.

It doesn't react any way for double click. (if you mean to click on top of background image, not on any links). Clicking the link is not what I want, because I know it affects to how the linked film acts. But main menu is not a film. I hope you understand what I mean.

Of course I've customized the whole thing, and not used any of those stupid trendy templates. I've customized just everything. That's why I seem to run on problems all the time.

I think this software is meant to basic users who are just doing home videos, because no one uses those templates in commercial videos. (my video is going to be sold in 50 countries)

I actually used templates, because I had to. I didn't see any way to start from scratch (blank manu page with no any elements on it, no any chapter menu links etc.) So I used a template and then wiped it away step by step, and replaced elements with one of my owns. So I was not asking how to do looping menu music with templates, I asked how to do it in edit mode, maybe by putting a tick to "play this music as loop" or something like that.

Hi Ishtor

First to correct your statement re menu not being a film - a DVD menu is a film with overlays for buttons etc which a DVD player can act upon as you will see if you try the method below.

Now that we have the more details of what you are trying to do - the problems as I see them are (select the correct one or expand more on how you are editing the menu)

1.  Your music clip is shorter than the play time of the menu

2.  You are using the controls shown in this image to replace elements of the menu.

If either is the case, to solve your problem select one of the animated templates, with background music, that matches closely to what you are trying to achieve.

Use the Edit in Arranger button to change the background and music.

This you will see is identical to the normal Edit tab. You can also set the menu loop point in this window.

On return to the Burn tab you will be asked to save the arrangement.

Change the buttons, text and other elements of the menu as you require.  When you save the project all these changes will be saved for this project.

Ok, so I started the whole thing all over again. (btw, I still don't understand why everything must be based on templates. Why so simple thing as "play this sound as loop" can't be one choice in "load menu music"-section... So now if I want to change menu music, I have to start all over the whole project!)

But ok... Where I can choose the loop preferences in arranger?

Hi

I think you can only move the menu loop marker.

I have not found a way to successfully set up a 'blank' template.
