How to make text title transparent.

1940 wrote on 11/5/2017, 5:16 PM

Hi,

Making a basic text title in Title maker I either have a white or black background.

Even with a white background I get a black box behind my white text.

How do i just have text without any backing so I can see video under text please?

I have tried placing it on all tracks.

Thanks

oz

EDIT:

Went into VPx4 and it was fine as always.. Text did not have any background. It was transparent.

Hi,

Update to the latest patch of MEP. This problem has been reported on the French forum and I believe that it was resolved.

Thank you will do it now.

In Patches area on the Magix site, it only gave an option for my old MEP 15, not the new MEP 2107 prem.

Trying to open my new bought MEP 2017 Premium but it looks like it is stuck in Full screen video monitor mode and can't get it out of it ! Esc doesn't work either.

When I hover on the V icon on the lower Toolbar I see the timeline and the full program however the screen is just the full black empty video monitor.

@1940

With the app open, try pressing F9, which is the shortcut to reset window arrangement. Hopefully, that will restore the full arrange window for you.

Thank you so much ! This has had me baffled for hours. F9 was not mentioned in the Monitor Shortcuts I found just Ctrl + G etc.

Really do appreciate it! Now just to get my Video Pro x working with transparencies and I'll be cool.. But that;s another post.

The solution to the background problem may be processor/OS dependent, so change the display to compatibility mode.

Settings > program > Display Options

Under Video mode: set it to "Compatibility mode"
