How to reinstall Music Maker with original DVD but no case or original box

I purchased and installed Music Maker in April 2013. Recently I inadvertantly deleted all the installed programs on my computer. I have the original Music Maker disk, and my original receipt shows the serial number, but when I try to reinstall the program, it won't work.

Unfortunately I didn't register the product when I originally installed it, and I no longer have the box, manual, or dvd case--just the dvd and the serial number from the receipt.

Is there a separate installation code (aside from the serial number) that I need to reinstall the product? If so, how do I get that code? Is it somewhere on the dvd itself?

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

The best advice I can give is to contact Magix sales directly and see if they can help you. Since you have the receipt and can probably give them a invoice number they should be able to help you reinstall the product. I would call them, not email them. It may be long distance but it is much faster that waiting for them to respond via email.
