Hi.

If you have the ability to use Hindi or Kannada scripts in other documents such as Word or PowerPoint then the scripts reside in windows and you can use them. Just use the text editor within MEP. Find text in the templates section and select any text from 'Fonts Basic as shown below. Then type anything into the text box to create some text.

Once some text is on the frames roughly where you want on the video go to the text editor in the Effects tag.

Click on the text editor and you should get a box like the one below. From there select the font you need from the list by clicking on the box you see open with a list of fonts.

The Text can be moved around by using the 'Size / Position' effect in the effects section. Colours and shading can be managed in the Text editor as can size of the font in the frame.

Fonts can be downloaded from the net if you don't have any. You will need to do an internet search for some. There are various sites out there.
