I can't even install ANY of the Magix programs I have bought now.

Every time I try to DL an installation program for any of the software I have bought from Magix I get this on the screen multiple times. I am also tired of the reCAPTCHA code asking 7+ times to proves I'm not a "robot" when I am on my 8th or so try installing one piece of the software at all. Even with the Windows Defender turned off it doesn't succeed.

I bought the Movie Studio hoping it could succeed in doing updates better than Movie Edit Pro Premium but neither does (plus it doesn't support HW acceleration like the MEPP2022 did) and I can't install either of them now even after uninstalling them on my Windows 11 system. Any ideas of what might work for getting any of my software and having it work? Thanks.

Welcome to the nightmare that is trying to install Movie Studio. You are not alone.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

In addition to @AAProds comment, you may also want to as for a refund as Magix Movie Studio (MMS) 2022 is Movie Edit Pro (MEP) 2022 as you will have seen from your previous posts when clicking on the Movie Edit Pro link at the top of the forum page.

Following the dropping of further development of Vegas Movie Studio (VMS), the gap left by the loss of this product was filled with the release of Magix Movie Studio 18 which was based on Movie Edit Pro with the capability to import VMS project files. This caused a lot of forum comments both in this forum and the Vegas software forum.

Since then the MEP and MMS products have merged and rebranded, MEP 2022 is now called Magix Movie Studio 2022
