Hi

Check that Movie Edit Pro (MEP) is allowed access to the camera in the Windows Settings, Privacy, Camera option - you will need to add it as shown below

You will also have to add MEP to the Windows Settings, Privacy, Microphone option as well.

Are you using the Record dialog option indicated below?

and are the camera and audio options available as shown below?

I made sure the program was unblocked and that I had the correct camera setup, etc. Nothing worked.

I plugged in my C922 Logitech webcam and everything worked fine.

I'll try finding the permission settings within the HP webcam app. If that is one.
