I am having trouble recording audio from my computer. I can record via the mic but not audio being played from the computer.
Also why is so hard to start a support request directly with Magix these days?

This is not a MEP problem.
Windows 10 turns off the RealTec Stereo Mix by default.
You need to go into the sound settings to change it to active.
Setting / Sound / Manage Sound Devices / Input Devices / Stereo mix/ Enable.
Then go back to Sound / Input / Choose input device and select Stereo mix from the drop-down list.
Under the Input , choose your device you will see Device properties. Open it.
You should see a dialogue box open with Stereo Mix Properties.
Go to advanced. Select the sample rate and bit depth required.
In Exclusive Mode make sure both 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device' and 'Give exclusive mode applications priority' are ticked.
Best not to Enable audio enhancements.

Stereo Mix is not an option. I had gone down that path already but thank you for the offering to support.

I'm sorry, I don't understand, Stereo mix is the only way to record internal audio unless you have a separate audio card. Or are to trying to record line out onto an external device?

Stereo Mix is not an option in the settings. I am familiar with what you are saying and have that option on a different computer.

What audio chipset to you have in your computer?
Have you got the correct drivers for it?
If all else fails you could try virtual cable.

The setting could be set to hidden.
