I cannot reinstall the software as my laptop crashed

Hello everyone,

My laptop crashed few days ago and now I have a new SSD on it.
I've downloaded VegasMovie Studio 17 again and tried to use the serial number I got when I originally bought the software (in June 2020).

But reaching that point I was told that the serial number was invalid.
So, is it related to the fact that I should take ownership of the software again (as my HD was replaced with a new SSD), or shall I try to ask for a new serial number?

You may have to go into your magix account and "deactivate" the serial from previous PC ID which is on the last hard drive which crashed. You should be able to re-activate it on the new SSD. Hope it helps.
