Exactly which version of Movie Studio Platinum do you have? If it is version 17 or earlier this is the wrong forum for you. Please read this pinned post and follow the advice given there.

If you have version 18 or version 2022 then this is the correct forum for you and we need to know a lot more about your computer if we, fellow-users, are to have any chance of being able to help you.

First, please read this post and then put ALL the details requested there into your signature (you can read mine if you click on the blue "Signature" link at the end of this reply).

Then, please take a screenshot of the error message which you receive and post it to your reply by using the "upward-pointing arrow" at the top of the box where you write that reply.

Also, if you open Task Manager, can you see if your version of MS Platinum is listed as running in the Processes tab? If so, highlight it and try clicking on the End Task button (bottom right hand corner of Task manager) and then try again to start it. Does that help?
