I created a completely original tune using a midi keyboard (MusIc maker 2013) but it shows another author

When this song plays using WMP it shows a graphic and says "Ciccone Youth" "Silence" as the content... WTF is that all about? Not even any clips used in there, just all original keyboard sounds.

hOW IS THIS POSSIBLE AND HOW THE hELL CAN i GET RID OF IT?

Hi,

Before you get all bent out of shape, remember, you are not speaking to anyone from Magix here.  We are all users trying to help other users and the tone of your message is not really conducive to people wanting to help you!

Perhaps you could edit and rephrase your question and answer some very basic questions such as;  Where are you seeing the artist and song information?

Good Luck,

George

Is there any track info showing when playing in another programm..?

I can imagine that WMP is searching for track information in the internet while playing... and just gets it wrong...

Smartsmurf makes a good point, but I would assume that you would have at least tried to enter the correct information into the WMP data base before you started in on the application.

In case you don't know how to change it to make it right, look here  http://windows.microsoft.com/is-IS/windows-vista/Add-or-edit-media-information-in-Windows-Media-Player

In the absence of the proper file tags and data base submission any on line database is going to either choose something that sounds similar or produce no result.

See why it important to provide some detail as to exactly what your question is and under what conditions the problem occurs.

You jumped to a conclusion assuming it was application related, and I assumed that you had done your homework and had found something in the program that may have assigned the artist and song information as some sort of default.

Well everyone first, I did not realize my caps lock was hit before I clicked send the original question and yes I actually edited all the info in the mp3 file and it still happens, and I'm far from a newbie although this program is fairly new tro me I've used Movie Edit Pro for about 5 versions and have written over 50 software programs going back to MSDOS and built hundreds or websites, etc. etc.

So anyhow I could not get it to stop, so I tried exporting it as a WAV instead and somehow it isn't doing that now.

It's just very weird, and in the process I searched Youtube and elsewhere to find the song it was referencing... oddly I found the song and every comment about that video mentions it doing exactly the same thing for others although I don't know what programs they are running.

I had used a bell instrument in the beginning and if I took that instrument out it seemed to stop but this composition is for a video soundtrack and I liked the bells in there.

Anyway now as a wav. it seems to work but it is very odd.
