Do you mean literally what your question says; i.e whether MEP PRO 2014 will play BD discs?  Or, are you asking whether MEP will burn BD discs?

The answer to "playing" is, NO, MEP is not a player, though it is possible to extract the files from a BD disc and have MEP "play" them, albeit not with the all the BD Menu options that a standard BD player would give you; the answer to "burning" is, YES, provided your external BD drive is actually a "BD (Re-) Writer", rather than simply a BD ROM (player only.)
