Hi

I see you have already discovered you can.

Running dual monitor does depend on the graphics card/chipset supporting dual monitors and the Windows version you are running.

MEP has been able to dual monitor since  (IIRC)  version 15.

Hi,

The main advantage of 2 screens, you can run at same time 2 programs may be the Magix on screen 1 and a teleprompter or a word processor on screen 2 or simply a control panel to capture on screen 1 or a paint program. I prefer a big screen than 2 screen to run a video program using or view may be 6 track. I consider a good investment for 2 screen setup when I use the explorer to find a photo etc.

Hi

. . . . The main advantage of 2 screens, you can run at same time 2 programs . . .

On the other hand I find it better to have the preview screen at full screen size on one monitor and the timelines etc on the other - avoids switching the preview monitor from small to full screen and back again and makes positioning by dragging easy and it is this easier to spot alignment mistakes.

However it is very much a personal preference.

John

I am agree with you John, my brother in law has a large screen 27'' may be 32'' and my video computer has 2 identical Samsung monitor 23'' I think that it depend the work you done and this become a personal preference. Personally, I think that is not essential to purchase an additional screen.
