I have several questions. first is how do i correct the glitches in my program is it something with my pc or the music maker 17 program. the problem is with all of my tracks. they play and stop through the entire track.

when i start the program and try to listen to my tracks it sounds like a scratched cd. what is causing this problem and how do i fix it. i am using music maker 17 hiphop edition with windows 7. my second question is how do i import a new song from other artist and make each individual instrument  and vocal track appear seperately so i can edit it the way that i want. my third question is when i click on the add styles icon and it searches a cd or music file for new soundloops why won't it show up in the soundpool list. i have more questions but lets get these three out of the way first as they are thee most ttroublesome to me right now.

Hi

1.  It would help if you could tell us your computer specification.

2.  If you a referring to importing an audio file and trying to seperate out the instruments and any vocals - you cannot do this.

3.  You must extract the audio files from the CD to your computer to the appropriate soundpool location and then add these to the soundpool.

COPYRIGHT

Items 2 and 3 you must be aware of copyright issues - if you intend to distribute, sell or public broadcast  any material you produce, which contains copyright material, then you need permission from the copyright owners; also, if you use any of the soundpools supplied with MM17, which are copyrighted,  then you must purchase the correct licences for the soundpools you use.

To expand on what John said...

1. You may need to increase your audio buffers in the Program settings if your computer barely meets the software requirements.

2.  As John said, you can't....unless you contact the artist and/or copyright holder of the material, obtain the original multi-track recording and written permission to use the material.  I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

3. Because other third-party material are not soundpool files, so they do not behave as such.  You need to access them using the File Manager, which is easy enough.
