I no longer get Audio from an AVCHD file

My version of Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus was purchased in October 2010, registered and activated and worked like a dream. Now, when I create a new project and import an AVCHD file, I have no audio. I suspect that the mpeg4 codec is not working and I have no idea how to to fix it. Please help as I love the program - when it works properly.

This isn't MAGIX support, it’s a user to user page where we share knowledge and even support knowledge if we have it.

To me, if it worked before and it doesn't work now, then there is something corrupt with the program... perhaps you installed something new, new drivers, updates or what not...

My suggestion is to reinstall the Movie Edit Pro, if it still has a problem after that, contact MAGIX support.
