I replaced a dead computer and tried to reinstall MEP14 (NOT MEP16) on the new computer. Wont work. Why?

MEP 14 was released in 2008 and, if your new computer is running Windows 8 or 8.1, you need to upgrade MEP to a Windows 8 compatible version.

There will be several issues with trying to run MEP 14 apart from the one you are having, one of which will be you may not be able to burn DVDs using MEP.
