i tried to record an lp into the pc but unfortunely the recording stopped before the lp side finished..how do i prevent this?

I never personally encountered this problem and I transcribed 100s of lps with Magix. If there was a prroblem, it was cockpit trouble....internet related.....needle got stuck.....loose connection...things of this nature. If you sit and watch and listen to the whole process, it will go off without a hitch......but if you leave the room, the forces that be screw with your mind....and your lps. Its a "do over"

i have anothe new pc and the same thing is happening with that one also..and these are 78s not regular lps

The manual is software you need t download after you have registerred your product. Seee if that helps.
