With the new update I see only one movie template called Otherland. Is that the only one that comes with the program? I am using my desktop Windows 10. My old Movie Edit Pro 17 HD is looking better already. Sometimes newer isn't always better :-)

What version number is the program as found under Help, About?
Did you download and install the Extra Content, which contains more effects, templates and functionality?
If not do so - Help, Install extra content.

Hi.
I agree things are not always better if you are comparing what was on offer back then when Windows XP was in use.
However things have moved on a pace. Resolutions and colour depths as well as codecs have moved on.
If you have no need for any of that then keep a pc off line and carry on with it. But if you are using newer recording gear you will need newer software and a pc upgrade to cope with the increased demands of the newer cameras and recording equipment.
