I've just discovered "Inspector" under File Manager. It looks useful but I can't see how to make use of it. I copy a sound (for example a guitar chord) and then want it to change to follow the chords in the melody line. Pitch higher/lower do not help.

If you are talking about object inspector according to the PDF help of Music Maker 16 Premium:

Object inspector settings
The object inspector offers quick access to properties of objects, e.g.
audio effects for audio objects.

For MIDI objects, the synthesizer
controlled by a MIDI object may be played directly via an on-screen
keyboard.

-------------------------------------------------------

Therefore, you can not use it for editing this is what I think.

You should rephrase your question ask again with explanation what you want to do and surely someone will give you reply.

Thank you for your advice.

I have a backing track copied over from another program that has a chord structure to it.

What I would like to do is to edit loops in MM such that I can alter the their pitch to match the 'sound' of the chord.

This is possible in the program Mixcraft, for example.

You are welcome.

I will suggest also provide information such as: Music Maker version and OS:Windows XP, Vista or Windows7. These information help others to guide you properly.
