I want to download Independence Free but get taken to the wrong page

Dear Anyone.

Just got told about Independence Free, that it's multitimbral (YAAAYY!!!!) and comes with a 2gig library. On another post on this forum I found THIS link for it.....

https://www.magix.info/us/proxy/63a4088b4cfa89517ad6/?link=https%3A//www.magix.com/us/free-download/independence-free-sampler-software/

which LOOKS right but when I copy/pasted it into the browser I got taken to something called Continuum. Didn't REALLY understand what that was. Is it a new name for Independence Free? If so, how do I download it free, and do the presets come bundled with it? I was originally told the presets were a separate download.

Only joined here to learn where the correct download page for Independence Free is because I SUCK at websites most royally!

Yours respectfully,

Chris.

@Christopher-Burke You have Windows, correct?

Magix sold some apps to Boris FX, for example Samplitude, but they didn't sell Independence to them. So it's odd they redirect the link to Boris FX. Maybe a mistake from the Website editor.

But the download links still exist:

Here is the download manager for the installer: http://dl03.magix.net/independence_softwaresuite_32_dlm.exe

Here is the download manager for the library: http://dl03.magix.net/independence_freelibrary_dlm.exe

Make sure you create a backup of everything you download. Don't just backup the download managers. Just in case it gets taken offline in the future.

Magix still sells Independence at https://producerplanet.com/us/article/independence-pro-standard-3122/

If you want Independence including the full sample library, you can get it here: https://producerplanet.com/us/article/independence-pro-premium-suite-3121/

Be aware, the software was designed in the mid 2000s. So, it has a very old user interface. The full library price isn't worth it, in my opinion. In the past they already sold it occasionally for under $80.

But the sampler software itself is very nice, as long as you know how to use it. The free version can load up to 25 samples. You can also load MIDI files and then trigger them like samples.
