If i buy from US will it be licenced in india

I will be buying from india ..will it be used in india with that serial number with activation code if any.

Is it legal to use in india..

I do not think the PC/software location or where it was purchased matters as long as you have a serial number and an internet connection to initially activate Sound Forge.
