I'm in the US and have downloaded a bunch of MM stuff and never had a problem withthe downloading, especially if you havae a fast computer and lots of disk space.  Any problems after the download...even weeks later, I have always had very goood luck with the Repair proceedure.  I do believe you aare entitled to make a back-up copy sssolsely for your self as you will only get one registration code.  Good luck
