If I reinstall Movie Edit Pro MX (error -6, installation folder may be damaged etc), will I lose all past and current projects that I've been working on?

When loading up Movie Edit Pro MX Premium, I am now getting a error message -6 saying the installation file may be damaged and reinstalling the program may correct the problem.

I have several past and a present projects I've made and now in the middle of making another. I don't care so much if I lose past projects that have been rendered and made into a video (pc file or uploaded) but have been working for many days on a current project that I don't want to lose... If I reinstall Movie Edit Pro will I lose all my projects? And if I try to 'repair' the program, will I also lose the projects I've been working on, that had been saved?

I've tried to open my current project made with Movie Edit Pro MX Premium with Movie Edit Pro 2014, but it tells me that the files have been moved. But they haven't been.

No, your project files are seperate from the main program and will remain if you uninstall + reinstall. However you can always go to the folder where they are saved and move/duplicate them to be sure. To see where they are saved go to File -> Settings -> Program -> Folder
