Hi and welcome to the forum

So long as you record in a supported video format at constant framerate and audio samplerate of 48kHz, then the videos should be imported correctly.

Supported formats are listed in the PDF manual available under Help.

Hi,

Perhaps you can explain more of how you intend to use SlingStudio and how you think that you would use MEP (or VPX) in the process. I presume it would be for post-production.

As best I can figure, SlingStudio is mainly for live broadcast and has a switcher and an app for some live editing. In the end, everything gets recorded onto the hub. So I would assume that you would still just import the video files onto your computer, into MEP/VPX and treat them as multi-cam. This means that any camera switching done live is not used. If a recording of the live broadcast is made, it becomes a file in which camera adjustments cannot be done, so basically, you would still have to be editing with raw material.

MEP can handle up to 4 cameras in multi-cam, VPX 9. How many cameras do you envisage?

Do you actually have SlingStudio? If so, then you can try it along with MEP, which I presume that you already have.

I think it would be interesting and useful for many users to see a workflow. I won't be using it, but I am quite interested in knowing how it would all work.

Hi

The SlingStudio device video recordings are MP4 files using the H.264 video and AAC audio codecs to a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 30 or 60 fps - these should work with Movie Edit Pro(MEP)

The SlingStudio plugins will not work with MEP - they appear to be specific for Final Cut and Adobe Premiere.
