Ever since upgrading from MMEP Premium 2013 to 2015, when I click on the record button to bring up the import screen and make a selection of what I want to import, all the pictures import into the folder I want them to go to, but it also imports a clip that's already in the folder. and it's not on the import screes to start with.

If the clip is already in the folder is the import creating a new one with the same name plus a number after it?
Otherwise if it is there in the first place it will still be there when you import more video, which is what should happen, importing new clips should never delete waht already exists in the folder.

MMEP 2015 Premium version.
What it seems to be doing is importing the same clip with the same number and ext.
I have 7 Video clips in my Camcorder I want to import into my chosen folder.
I'm on the MMEP video import screen with seven clips from my camera showing, I press import but MMEP also imports a clip out of the folder where I save them. also instead of importing 7 clips there are only 6 one is missing. On the import screen the video source is my Camera and the save in folder is where I want them to go.
I hope that makes sence.
Is there something in settings that will correct this issue because it never happend in version 2013

One thing I forgot to mention.
When I'm on the import screen I always tick inport into movie from the import options under where it says Display Filters. All the clips from my camara are displayed in the tracks as well as saving them to the folder I want them to be in. Because it loads a clip that is already in my computer there is always a clip missing from my camera in the tracks.
The clip that is imported from my computer is not saved again because the number of that clip is always the same in the folder

Coming to this a little late, but, re-reading your posts I wonder whether what you are saying is that MEP fails to import one of the clips from your camera because one that is already in the designated folder has the same name as one you are trying to import. Is that correct?
If so, I would agree that normal Windows behaviour is to ask whether to overwrite/replace/rename one of the files with the shared name. Clearly that is not the case. So, why not simply move (Cut and Paste) the file that is already in the folder to another location, another folder or even your desktop, and then try the import again.
Or, simply rename the clip that is already on your computer and then try the import again.
Does this help, or have I completely misunderstood the problem?
