In Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus: I delete the unwanted section of the video on timeline and it disappears. HOWEVER, when I hit play the deleted section still appears. What am I missing? I've done this so many time, every which way and same result.

I'm using a PC with Windows XP. I have loaded the latest version of the Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus program.  The problem persists no matter how I execute it.

I take the propler steps to define and delete the unwanted section on the timeline. I see it disappear, I close the gap and then reply the video. The deleted section is back!!!  What am I missing?  Please someone help.  thanks.

Hi,

Sounds like project corruption, but I assume you are saying this persists after closing and restarting MEP with a new project?

If so, did you try resetting program settings to defaults (after noting any you want to restore)?
