Hi John

Well unfortunately it didn't work
Installationsmanager is launching at startup even though the packs are already installed

Hi

. . . . Well unfortunately it didn't work . . . .

This would suggest your Antivirus Folder protection/Ransomeware feature is blocking MEP from updating a file it uses for startup - try turning it off and then repeat the procedure, activate the dialogs and restart MEP, when the popup appears click the Do not show this message again option first and then click the Later button.

Just a thought: did you download and install ALL the additional content? Your screenshot shows a section of the download screen. If you scroll down is there something lower down that is still showing as available?

Hi

. . . . Big bug ... . . .

I doubt this as other users who have used the fix I posted have had success and there would be a lot more users posting on this issue.

If the fix did not work then there is something odd going on with your PC that is either reverting the setting or stopping being saved.

Does it reappear if you do the following:

  1. Start VPX, cancel any dialogs that open

  2. Select File, Setting, Reset program settings to default.

  3. Close and then restart VPX

  4. When the popup

appears click the Do not show this message again option first and then click the Later button.

  5. Close VPX.

  6. Start VPX

HTH
