Hi! I have an older version of Sound Forge (8.0) and want to load it onto my new computer. I only have an installation disk - my new computer does not have a CD Drive. How do I get my version loaded?

Buy a USB DVD drive. I bought one on sale for $20 at Best Buy last year.
Assuming you have a valid serial number, go to Magix Download Center, and get final SF-8 build from there,. Alternately, go to the Magic Service Center> My Products page to see all your registered Sonic Foundry, SCS (Sony) and Magix software.
You can also download SF-8 from the legacy SCS webpage. In any case you will need the original email address you used when it was initially registered.
Note: Sonic Foundry versions of Sound Forge needed to be installed directly from the installer disc, but that was prior to SF-7 as I recall.
