Interrupting a Mixdown

k9vet wrote on 3/4/2014, 1:57 PM

In MEP16, if I have to interrupt a mixing down session prior to burning, it is possible to resume the mixdown later without having to start all over?  If so, how do I do that?  Does it involve using the Encode All Encode Use All Use window??

Thanks!

Hi

My guess is that, clicking the Use All button will will only avoid having to re encode completed files like menus, etc. but will probably require MEP starting the encode again for the main movie if it was only partially mixed down.

Hi

. . . . Does it involve using the Encode All Encode Use All Use window . . . .

Yes - if there have been no changes to the parts already encoded then you can select the Use or Use all button.

I personally re-encode everything - because then I am sure that any changes made are correctly encoded.
