What was the actual full message and or error code?
Is this a first time install?
Which variant of Movie Edit Pro (MEP) ie Basic, Plus or Premium, and if you can run MEP in trial mode what is the version number under Help, About.
Is the serial number, beginning with P3-, the correct one for the version you are wanting to activate, ie you cannot activate MEP 2021 with, for example, a MEP 2016 serial number.
