Is h265HEVC support proposed for the near future?

I am currently using Magix Movie Edit Pro plus 2015 for general editing purposes. I wish, however, to render final material out of that NLE in h265. Currently, I am using AVCHD, but because I am involved with a large project, the ability to render to h265HEVC would be helpful, especially insofar as data storage saving is concerned.

My question is, is there an intention to introduce h265 in the foreseeable future? That may be either by way of an update, or alternatively a codec which may be activated by paying the usual fee for the privilege. I have conversion to h265 as an option now, but a direct render out of 'Movie Edit Pro Plus' would be very useful.

Hi

This is a user forum not Magix support - you should be asking Magix.

Using h265 HEVC which video format are you wanting to export to 4K UHD or 8K UHD ?

MEP2015 supports 4K according to the Magix website, however, AFAICS, there are no presets within the program to export in this format which suggests to me that an additional codec is required.
