Is it best to re-encode or use Copy mode for audio in format conversion

I am converting a DVD VOB file into a MPEG2 format. I get the following notice:

"The current disc project dontains audio in Dolby Digital format. The sound will be encoded again with the current settings. To keep the original sound, please click on "Copy mode".

How do I decide which is best, re-encode, or just copy.

Hi

It all depends on what your final output format is going to be.

I would normally use Copy Mode to keep the best quality.
