Is there a way to fix the error in MEP 17 and with loading Quicktime file video projects

If I every try to load a project with quicktime (MOV) video files in it in any way, it crashes and the thoubleshooter comes up, of Windows will close it and bring up the app crash. I just have a HP 6005 pro and 8 GB of RAM and 2 core along with ATI radeon ?5450?. I read that another person had the same trouble and Magix sent him an upgrade.

Hi,

I am using Windows 7 64 Bit.

I have no updates to MEP 17 or quicktime.

I just meant that if there was any quicktime video files in the project it would crash during loading or load partially.

There can be other video formats but still dose likewise without.

It does stop working suddenly and crashes right in the middle of a project.

Timothy.

Hi

What version of Windows are you using?

Is MEP 17 patched uo to the last available patch for this version - 10.0.12.2 ?

Have you updated Quicktime to the latest version?

. . . . with quicktime (MOV) video files in it in any way . . . .

Do you mean there are other video formats in the project as well?

Was it working then suddenly stopped?
