Hi

MEP will use its own installed codecs wherever possible.  Where a codec is not available it will use an external codec, eg for MOV files, QuickTime is required.

It is not recommended to try to override the codecs MEP uses.  The installed burn and export options are optimised to produce the best quality video with the MEP installed codecs.
