Is there an easy way to collapse the timeline when there are gaps?

I know I can change the selection tool to move everything behind the video I'm moving at once, but if I change the speed of several videos at once or length of pictures I end up with a lot of gaps in the timeline. Is there an easier way to collapse the timeline than moving several videos/pictures one at a time?

This is for Movie Edit Pro 2015 Premium.

Mark your clip no. 2, then klick the transition (A/B-mark) (in Timeline or Storybord mode) and select Cut. Select it once more and select Apply to all objects ---  All *Black holes* are now removed.

Hi

@ Andreas - Cut. Select it once more and select Apply to all objects - this method does not work in MEP2015 - it did in previous versions.

I queried this with Magix, shortly after MEP 2015 came out, and this behaviour is not a bug but by design - I prefer the behaviour in previous versions.

AFAIK there is no quick way of removing the gaps in MEP 2015 - at least none that I have found yet !

@johnebaker

Hi John: One more reason for me to stay with 2014, as I use that bulk gap removal quite frequently. I'm curious, did MAGIX explain why they changed the design? Is there some advantage of another kind?
