After three years of not getting any resolve with my issues with using Magix, I have chosen to abandon all my work and adopt another DAW system....but which one?
Why would you ask that question here? We are all Magix users here. If you want to find something else, just google it. Yes there are other appliations out there that are better than Music Maker but you will pay anywhere between 10 and 20 times as much as you did for MM to get them. I just had a look at all of the questions that you have asked, and to be honest, you have very graciously thanked the people who responded, but really never posted a followup question or comment saying that you did not get the answer that you either wanted or needed. Whose fault is that? You ask a question, you get an answer, it is not the answer you are looking for so you say nothing? It looks like the question is answered yet now you say that after 3 years your issues are not resolved. What is up with that? I would suggest that you stick with what you have, start asking very specific questions, and if you do not get answers that help you, ask another question adding more detail. I really don't think that buying another product is going to solve your problem. You will just have the same problems with the new products. Start asking some very specific questions, and challenge the responses that you get if the do not solve your specific problem. When you challenge a response you don't need to be nasty or mean, you just need to say something like "thank you for your response, but that did not help me solve my problem...then add some more detail as to why it did not help you.
(Quoted directly from Wikipedia) The first two sentences say it all (as I stated)...
"Magix Music Maker is a commercial digital music editor, which was designed by the company Magix for the consumer sector. In its present form, its program attributes originate from Magix's professional digital audio workstation, Samplitude."
Music Maker just does not have all of the capabilities and features of a full DAW.

Oh ok, thank you for the clarification. My mistake for calling Magix Music Maker a DAW when I found it on the Wikipedia page about DAWs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Digital_audio_workstation_software I am going to have to let Wikipedia know that there information is wrong and the MMM is a digital music editor not a digital audio workstation.
