Is this a good replacement for DVD Studio Pro?

I am looking to replace DVD Studio Pro on Mac with a new PC and DVD authoring software that is as compatible as possible with former. Has anyone tried this with Movie Edit Pro? If not, do you have any advice for me? (Please know that the PC will have all the latest and greatest in hardware resources and will be running the latest incarnation of Windows 10 64-bit.)

Please let me know if further info is needed. Thank you to all in advance.

Hi

. . . . DVD Studio Pro on Mac . . . . Movie Edit Pro . . . .

These are 2 very different programs, Movie Edit pro is video editing software and has a relatively simple disc creation functions, where as DVD Studio Pro is a disc authoring program..

The equivalent to DVD Studio pro is Vegas DVD Architect.

Thank you, John EB. I was tasked with finding a replacement DVD authoring app, and searching on such gave me Movie Edit Pro and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. I will now head off to review Vegas DVD Architect. I appreciate your kind help and will remember where I found it when I need relatively simple disc creation software.
