Is Vegas Video Edit 19.0 a stable application?

I've been using Vegas 15.0 for many years and the application is riddled with issues, where it crashes often. Typically the app hangs. Has anyone had the same experience with the Magix mess?

Here's my configuration: Windows 10 64-bit Version 20H2, Intel I7-11700, 64GB, LG 4K monitor

I've owned Vegas since version 4 and each release has gotten worst. Just not sure it's worth upgrading anymore, so was hoping folks could provide their experience.

I need the pro version with chroma & proxy support. Hate that there are now 3 versions.

Thinking of giving up on Magix and moving to Adobe Premiere?

I've looked at the forum and some say to turn off GPU. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a good video card. Using RTX 3060 Ti.

It'll sometimes hang when selecting a transition, clicking render, adjusting clip length. Even can hang without doing anything. I'm constantly saving my work, knowing it could crash. Go figure.
