Is VST inside MMM17 Royalty-free? Publish/sell?

CoolSpot2 wrote on 3/16/2014, 8:07 AM

I know people asked many times before but i was unable to find confirmation .

Some people say "Just don't use Soundpools" other say "You can't sell original music at all"

1) Lets say I use Vita and Revolta to create completly original Arrangment in midi editor .

According to many music publishing websites MMM does not grant licence to sell/publish original music.

Is VST in MMM royalty free or not? Can I sell it if i don't use melodies from revolta and soundpools?

What about ROBOTA AND BEAT BOX?

Magix websites states that you need licence to use Synths inside Magix maker .

2) Can i use FREEWARE VST inside magix maker and create music to bypass licence? Magix websites says "LIVE RECORDING ONLY" Not according to EULA

...........................................................................

Here is my problem .

You can make a statement that MAGIX VST AND SYNTH is royalty-free . However EULA and Website say otherwise . So you can pretty much sue me for making original music .

IF MMM is "royalty-free" can we at least make it clear on the MAGIX website . I feel very insecure about making anything in MMM.

Thank you in advance

I am sharing what I am told before by Magix representative.

Soundpools DVD upto 16 and Music Maker up to 16 if we use their soundpool and create song we do not need any extra commercial license. Because they are Royalty Free. But any up version Soundpool/Music Maker from 17 need extra license for commercial purpose. Which is available from Catooh as Audio Pro.

Now I have also confirmed regarding BeatBox, Revolta, Vita and other included vst plugins in the Music Maker and I was told that if we create our own tunes and do not use presets(as it is) then we can use in commercial work.

I am not a lawyer, I am a user like you and I have shared exactly what I was told. If you need any extra information or clarification you can contact by message.
