Issue exporting still photo

I'm using MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17.  I have successfully export still photos from MPG's and AVI's.  However, for some reason I'm having a problem doing so with one particular AVI.  The photo always comes out black and  white as well as being skewed.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?  THX

Hi

Use GSpot or MediaInfo to determine what the codec is inside the AVI.  It may be that the correct one is not available for MEP to export correctly.  AVI files are not a specific codec they are just a container file which can have any codec inside.
