I am having a frustrating issue I need help with. When I drop a clip into the timeline the video sometimes does not show on the display. I can hear sound, but cannot see any video. Is this a program error or am I doing something wrong

Can the effected clips be played specifically in the Windows Film and TV player?

Check out your hardware acceleration setting in file - settings - program
Try changing all 3 to intel UHD or Microsoft WARP
I had the same issue and it did seem to be my Radeon graphics card and it's now OK as they must have done something in an update.
What is the spec of your PC?
HI Dond 10 thanks for you feedback. My PC is an acer predator helios 300. Can you set out the steps to het to that window ( Intel UHD)

Those laptops have the latest high end nvidia cards in them.
You should really tell us which version you have and the specs.
Go to. Windows Settings / About. for the processor specs and amount of ram.
Right click anywhere on your screen and you should see a list in which there is the nvidia control panel.
Open it and go to Help / System information. It will show you which graphics card you have and which version of the graphics driver you have.
Really you should be using that in the settings over the Intel GPU.
