Issues on Patch 19.0.1.121

I still have some other issues with the new version..

1. Can't exit if file size is above 1,000 Kb.. I've mentioned this in another post.. Magix support are aware and say they plan to fix.. I sent them a windows dump of the magix program in the "I refuse to exit state!"

2. When left clicking on the shrink - or expand + for the timeline, it pop's up a dialogue box at random. It should only pop up a dialogue box if you right click. Reported to Magix and they say they are awarey and looking to fix.

3. When loading files from previous version, it corrupts the text. Suddenly the text that was nicely placed is all over the place. It also creates a big boarder around it, i.e. when you click on the text to move it you can hardly move it as the box around the selected text is so big.. Not reported to Magix as I think others have mentioned something similar..

Here's hoping the next patch will fix these issues!

Hi Simmiv

I have MPV files that are over 7.5MBs that are playing just fine. I personally think it is MEP misreading data from older plugins that have been changed in the new version or missing. Size / Position being one of them.

Hi CubeAce,

Yes, I did notice that the other day.. One file, which is far bigger i.e. 18,783 Kb loads and saves fine, plus Video Pro X exits ok. A lot of other files, very similar don't, so I don't know what is causing this. I'm not using any effects in these files apart from fades between clips and making photos fit. Hope Magix find the cause and a fix..

@simmiv

As previously reported, Magix have acknowledged this as a problem for some users and a fix is being worked on, apparently.
