Well....a couple of things.  I was surprised at the size of the update....140MB.....MM2013 by itself is 340MB, and the details of it said "fixes bugs"....'cuse me....thats a lot a bugs.  I emailed support for a litttle more explanation and got nowhere and then a few days later, my soundpools while not all gone, I would say 75% missing.  To make a long story short....after several contacts with support, I was finally able to get back to where I was....and I have not downloaded that patch since and never will.  Back to your soundpool issue...if you have registered your MM programs, you have free downloads for life of those programs AND the associataed content packs.  Go to Help t the top/middle of program and re-download your missing content/soundpools.  Once and if you get it all back, and I'm sure you will over time and some effort on  your part....Move your soundpools into different folders and then make copies of them on a USB storage device, making sure the storage device is of the right capacity.  I did this a long time ago and have never b een sorry as I have 71 soundpools.  Soldier on and good luck

Thank you Gnarly that was very helpfull ive managed to get some soundpools back so thanks for that but im still missing the original soundpools that came with the music maker cd/dvd ie EURODANCE HIPHOP CHILLOUT etc,Ive tried reinstalling the disc a few times but there being stubborn and dont want to come out of hiding. As you may be able to tell im not very good at I.T. im guessing i need to find the file that those soundpools are in but im really clueless at where to search.Computers are complicated and a major pain in the butt, ill go and save the soundpools i have got onto a usb but have you any idea where i might be able to find the rest of my soundpools,im sure there there i just cant find them in the many folders of software. Thanks for your time and help.

If you have a cd/dvd they are still there.  get to MM2013 program and right click to do an Explore....this will list what is on or in tahe program and you might find the missing soundpools, they are just in a place you havent looked at.

You might also try a soundpool reset   hit the P key and it will bring u p program options...while yu are there. look it over there is a lot of good information about MM2013.  Read the reset instruction so you understand what you are doing.....BUT, before you do anything.....make your soundpool USB back up first, thn do the reset.

Right thank you again GNARLY,im slowly getting there ive recovered the original soundpools but now im missing the soundpool i downloaded from catooh,it was only the free 1 you get with a redeem code so its not that important if ive lost it,m just glad ive sort of got back to how it was before these problems started to arise.Im guessing that once the redeem codes been used once then it cant be used again on the same purchase.Anyway thanks again GNARLY youve been a massive help.
