Hi, It aounds like you may have  PAL - NTSC video system issue. If you live in North America, you need to set MEP for the NTSC sytem. If you live in Western Europe you are most likely to use PAL. The B&W flickering image indicates you are using the wrong setting. To fix this, when you have selected DVD burning, click on the "Advanced" button in MPEG encoder settings. You then set the "Video format" to your region. Your disc should now play in colour.

Thank You Terrerad, but in 2015 the structure appears a bit different from what you pasted.

I think I found the area where I am to indicated what type of NTSC, but it has 6 different versions of that to try as well: 3 standard and 3  longplay.

 

I need to read up on that stuff along with all the numerical inputs.
