Keyframe add button greyed out

Since upgraded to video deluxe 2022 from 2021 my animation keyframe button are greyed out no matter what i do. Plus the program is a lot slower in preview rather than faster as advertised.

Any help?

It seems I have found a way to make it work but i don't understand why, i have to go to the zoom effect and then back to dimension right click add effect curve and then i can add keyframe. it works but not great

Hi,

To get the kf button to turn on, just click in one of the boxes with numbers, like width. No need to change anything.
