I am trying to editing a 4 track video with MEP 17.
I always line up my tracks / choose the master audio and then which track to choose while playing back the tracks.
I never had a problem with editing multi track video until today I have noticed that it is super sluggish. I just recorded (with my phone) what is happening when I press play.
Would you know what is the sudden cause of this?

Hi,
you try to run 4 video track may be HD or 4K or something with 60 frames per second your computer cpu cannot work enough to decompress video file i suggest to create proxy file before to work. Using proxy file help because the computer handle much less data to work and give a fluid playback during the time you realize your montage. When the montage is finish the computer use the original fiile to compile (rendering) the project.
Try to clean your hard drive.

As Roger and Yvon-Robert have indicated, we need more information on the files. What resolution, etc?
I suggest that you get a screen capture program rather than using a camera to record what is happening. There are many. Debut is one that I have used that is quite good, OBS is another.

We need to know what camera recording format you were using and whether Magix was reading and playing the footage ok. Also what format you exported to, size, bitrate etc.

I note you are running the latest version of MEP, so not actually "MEP 2017" as your original post says, but which variant, Standard, Plus or Premium?
The MediaInfo about the files suggests nothing "unusual", possibly apart from
ISO Media file produced by Google Inc. Created on: 06/01/2018
which implies you have downloaded them from somewhere, but the titles of them suggest they are actually recordings of four different songs? But you seem to be attempting to work in multicam mode, at least that is what is suggested by the view of your playback screen.
So, please clarify exactly what you are trying to do with these four video files.
Listening to the recording which you posted in your original question, my overwhelming impression is that you are completely overloading your audio buffer; it simply cannot handle the throughput of data you are asking it to do. It is also possible your hard drive can't "keep up" either.

To answer all your questions:
I use the premium version.
The project is simple: One concert; One song; 4 angles rendered in One video.
I have rendered several similar projects last month and apart from an expected slight sluggish video playback all was fine. I don t understand why suddenly it does not work properly.
Also, Is that normal that even though I have chosen a master track, all other track sounds can also be heard at once?
When playback, can you see at the lower left corner, the CPU %.. . I used to get 90-100% until I put hardware acceleration to Intel instead of my Nvidia card. MEP now uses Intel hardware acceleration. I noticed this may be when I moved from very old MEP (13?) to MEP (15?) (can't really remember since years back).
So may be you can check if your MEP is using Intel hardware acceleration.
Following the above comment, I had a look at the settings for preview in arranger and changed the video mode from standard mode to compatibility mode.... and problem solved!!
I leave the thread opened for everyone comments.
Last bit of update and I will close the thread....
Problem were not fully solved and it became annoying even to edit one track video.... the crossfades were sluggish!!!
I reset the software to "factory settings".
It seems to have done the trick....
