level meters are frozen. they read peak and then hold. HOW TO UNFREEZE

My Samplitude 2014 has worked flawlessly since new. Now the VU (LEVEL) METERS ARE FROZEN SHOWING PEAKS AND THE HOLDING. How to change this back to how it was ?

@guitar53 Have you tried to restart your computer? Please select the Restart option and not the Shut down option.
